One of the things I’ve always loved is a good puzzle, and what better time to start a thought exercise than the end of the week?

With that, I present you the third challenge:

Continuing on the theme from last week, we are sticking with the theme of “big data” and now that you have an idea of the types of data that will be coming in, the next question is how do you get the data into your custody?

The three types of data we’ll be playing with:

  • Multiple XML files consisting of their customer information.
  • Database of customer transactions from when the deal was announced until post-close (day 1).
  • Unstructured data related to the customer (background documents for example).

At the end of day 1, the access to the parent company you’re buying the data from goes poof!
