Welcome to the first installment after the holiday break! Hopefully everyone was able to take the time to enjoy family, relax, and if not, get a handle on what you’d like to do going into the new year.

I’ve been noodling on a few ideas for the Tech Diligence newsletter from a content perspective, but do want you to be the first to know about a study that I’ll be conducting over the next couple of months looking at those who have already gone through their first acquisition and capture some of their stories. If you have peers that have just finished their acquisition, I’d love to hear from you.

Word from the financial press indicates that this year will feature an uptick in the number of M&A activities. Granted this was over the last few weeks (hence the last post before the break), but the reality is slowly sinking in.
