One of the more popular items that come in spurts is whether to outsource the talent. Some companies have gone all in on it, and others would be thinking about it. That is jumping on the outsourcing bandwagon.

From a normal business approach, this could work out: they are working while everyone in your timezone is asleep, and the costs are cheaper. However, there is the additional planning and coordination required to fully take advantage of it.

When it comes to the integration phase, this coordination and timing will need to be factored in. Without it, the sync time will be limited to a few hours per day and unless you are able to make full use of that time, there will be a block on what can be done when which will drastically slow down your ability to deliver. Doubly so when combining holidays.
