What of the integration team?

The integration activities will require quite a bit of coordination in addition to the actual integration work that needs to be performed. While this work may entail only a specific component, if it is in the critical path, then you will need to ensure their availability to dedicate time to the project. For smaller teams, this becomes critical as there will be plenty of interconnected dependencies and if you are waiting on that one piece, then your timelines will be shot.
